PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has decided to set up an emergency hospital for COVID-19 patients.
According to a spokesman for the KP chief minister, CM Mehmood Khan has signed a summary of the Health Department for 300-beds hospital .
The Covid-19 emergency hospital will be established with the support of the federal government on 79 kanals land, available with the provincial health department in Dauranpur, Peshawar.
In summary it has been mentioned that the federal government will construct the hospital building through National Disaster Management Authority whereas the KP government will provide land and medical equipment for the hospital.
The chief minister Mehmood Khan said that the establishment of the hospital as a dire need of hour and it would reduce burden of patients on other hospitals.

“Police Services Hospital Peshawar is completely dedicated for coronavirus cases.while other Major public and private sector health institution in KP are also providing treatment to coronavirus patients”.
