Several members of the International Cricket Council (ICC) have assured their support for the appointment of Pakistan Cricket Board chairman Ehsan Mani as chairman of the International Cricket Council.
The Times of Khyber quoted its sources as saying that many ICC members wanted to make PCB chairman Ehsan Mani the ICC chairman.
In this regard, the board members have liaised with the Chairman PCB and assured him of their full support and role for the chairmanship.
The members have suggested that you can solve the financial and internal problems of the ICC, so they consider you the best choice for this position.
The ICC will decide on the method of selection of the new chairman at the Karbadha Kotli Conference. The term of the current chairman of the ICC, Shashank Manohar, expires in July, after which the election of the new chairman will take place in July.
India wants to elect Saro Ganguly for the post of ICC chairman, while several board members are in favor of Ehsan Mani.
It should be noted that Ehsan Mani has been the President of the ICC from 2003 to 2006 and he has held this position without any controversy. He has been gaining the full confidence of many foreign boards due to his excellent personal abilities and ability to understand matters.
